Define Custom Report as Excel Sheet

· User can get the Custom Report in Excel Sheet by clicking on the custom menu which is designed with the help of Custom Menu Design and User Authorization

Step 1: Create Excel File

· An Excel file has to be created and the path of the file will be defined in the custom report. The Excel sheet path for reference is given below.

· Once the Excel sheet is created, open the application tool to define Custom Report.

Step 2: Defining Report

· This step is very similar to defining a report in Data Grid type. Only the difference is to select the Excel Sheet option while adding a new report and to specify the path of .xlsx created in Step 1. Save it.

· Define report name and SQL Query as defined in the Data Grid type example.

· Attaching Report to Menu and User Authorization remains the same as followed in this Example

View Report

· Go to Utilities and Clear Cache.

· Find the Test Report in Menu Bar and click SampleReport.

· Custom Report will be downloaded to the browser download and saved in .xlsx or .xlsm (macro enabled) format.
