Replenishment

Introduction

Replenishment is the process of re-filling the stock that has been used up. Demand Forecast is considered while calculating stocks for Replenishment.

Masters

Replenishment Parameters

Replenishment Parameters are the specifications that have a significant effect on the Replenishment Plan. The parameters given in this screen are applicable to all the Replenishment Masters.

Data Measures in Replenishment

There are 21 Data Measures in the Replenishment. The screen contains a brief explanation of all the Data Measures in the Replenishment.

Supply Hierarchy Master

The Screen provides From Location and To Location of the Items. The user can also specify if the Item is a Final Hierarchy along with the Demand Split Percentage.

Location Holiday Calendar

The user can specify a holiday in any of the Locations. There are three-holiday types Day of Week, Day of Month and a Specific Date.

Forecast-Replenishment Location Mapping

This page is used to define Items specific to a particular location for both Forecast and Replenishment.

Replenishment Plan Screen

The user in this screen can view the Replenishment with the combination of Item and Region. There are multiple options like Graph Type, Action Messages and Filter Save.

Replenishment Safety Stock

safety stock is stock held in a reserve to guard against shortages. The shortage may arise due to excess demand or lesser production. Three parameters of Safety Stocks are also discussed under this topic.

Reports

Planned Orders

The user in this screen can generate the Planned Orders by selecting the Item and Locations. The report will be generated with Item-Location-Replenishment Date along with Planned Orders.

Transactions

Customer Orders

Users can define the Customer Orders in this screen which will be displayed in the Replenishment screen. Customer Order is used to calculate Total Demand.

Firm Planned Orders

The user can define the Firm Planned Orders on this screen. Once the Firm Planned Order is edited, Replenishment data will be recalculated for the remaining buckets and data will be saved.

Inventory

Inventory refers to the goods and materials that a business holds for the goal of sale, production or utilisation. The user can Define the Item-Location combination.

In-Transit Orders

These are the Orders that are shipped by the seller but have not yet reached the destination. The user in this screen can define In-transit orders and they can be displayed in Replenishment Plan.

Production Orders

A production order is an order issued within a company to produce a specific quantity of material within a certain timeframe. In this screen, the user can define the Production Orders which will be displayed in the Replenishment Plan.

Purchase Orders

The purchase order is a commercial document and the first official offer issued by a buyer to a seller indicating types, quantities, and agreed prices for products or services.

Un-Forecasted Orders

These are the Orders that are not forecasted but still create the Demand to produce them and they are included while calculating Total Demand.

Action Messages

Action Messages

An action message is a system-generated suggestion to change an existing planned or firmed order. Action Messages are displayed in a Summary form and the user can also check the Action Message Details on this screen.
