Action Messages

What are Action Messages and How to View Them?

· An action message is a system-generated suggestion to change an existing planned or firmed order.

· User can view Action Messages directly.

Action Messages Summary

· Go to Menu bar --> Replenishment --> Action Messages.

· This screen will display the different actions that need to be taken care of an effective Replenishment.

Action Message	Name of the action that needs to be taken care of.
Count	Number of rows with that specific action message.

· To view the Action Message details, right-click on the Action message and select details.

· Action Message Details will be displayed below the Summary.

Item	Item that should be used.
Location	Location that should be used.
From Date	Replenishment Date.
Stock	Inventory in that bucket.
Beginning on Hand	Expected beginning on-hand inventory.
Ending on Hand	Expected ending on-hand inventory.
Quantity	Quantity of the order whether it Firm Planned Order, Purchase Order, In-transit Order or Production Order.

· Further, if the user wants to view the Replenishment Plan for a particular Item and Location combination. Right-click on Item or Location and select Details.

· Replenishment Plan will be displayed for different Data Measures in a separate window.

· Go to Menu bar --> Replenishment --> Replenishment Plan.

· User can filter the Product and Location tree using Action Message.

· Click on the Action Message button to select the Action Message and Location.

· Action Message tree will display respective Items below the Action Message.

· Product and Location Tree will be reloaded according to the Action Message selected.
