Validate

Validation is used to isolate data errors associated with a factory model. It is extremely useful when a planner wants to add new items to the current model after implementation is complete. So one can for example: add the new item, create locations and define routings, BOM etc and check if the model is correct using the validate screen. Also, it will find extreme usefulness in cases where static data like Items, Routings, and Boms are imported on a daily basis from an external system like an ERP. A recommended best practice for the planner is to run the Validation on a daily basis, before running a plan.
