Restore Database

· User can Restore the Database whose Backup is created.

· Open the Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio. Go to File à Connect Object Explorer.

· Select the proper Server Name in which Database is created/saved. Click on Connect.

· Right-click on the Databases and select Restore Database.

· Select the Source as Device and click on more. Please check the server is connected.

· Select the Backup Media Type as File.

· Click on Add and select the Destination of the Backup Database.

· Select the Backup File from the destination it is saved.

· Once the Backup Database is selected, change the Database name if there is any Database present on the server with the same name.

· Click the Ok button. A message pops up to confirm the Restoration of the Database.

· The Restored Database can be accessed under the Databases folder.
