Email Settings

User can set the mail configuration in this screen required to send Emails from Application and there is feature to send test mail to check the configuration saved is correct.

SMTP Host

SMTP stands for Simple Mail Transfer Protocol, and it's an application used by mail servers to send, receive, and/or relay outgoing mail between email senders and receivers.

SMTP Port

An SMTP port is a communication endpoint that handles the transfer of email data over SMTP (Standard Mail Transfer Protocol) as it moves through a network, from one server to another.

Enable SSL

SSL stands for Secure Sockets Layer and, in short, it's the standard technology for keeping an internet connection secure and safeguarding any sensitive data that is being sent between two systems, preventing criminals from reading and modifying any information transferred, including potential personal details. The two systems can be a server and a client or server to server.

Send Test Mail

After configuring the email settings Send Test Mail will send a test mail to the respective To mail id if the configuration is correct.

Test Email Utility

Test Mail Server Tool is a open source full featured mail (SMTP) server emulation to test mail sending capabilities of a web or desktop application or to preview messages before they are actually sent

Follow the steps below to check the SMTP mail settings on your desktop.

Step 1: Download Utility to check SMTP Mail

Download Utility to check SMTP Mail from Download Portal.

Step 2: Extract Files

  • SMTP Mail Checking Tool will be downloaded in the System in a zip file.
  • Extract the zip file.

Step 3: Installation

  • Right click on the SMTPMailSender.exe file and Run as Administrator.
  • SMTPMailSender Settings Window will open.
  • Ensure required authentication and all other settings have been given.

  • Then click on OK to save the settings.
  • SMTPMailSender Window will open.

  • Fill up the required fields as in the image
  • Then click on Send for sending mail.
  • The mail sent log will show in smtpsend.log text document file in the same folder
